Kullu Valley is a broad open valley formed by the Beas River between Manaliand Largi. This valley is famous for its temples, beauty and its majestic hills covered with pine and deodar forest and sprawling apple orchards. The course of the Beas River presents a succession of magnificent, clad with forests of deodar, towering above trees of pine on the lower rocky ridges. Kullu valley is sandwiched between the Pir Panjal, Lower Himalayan and Great Himalayan Ranges.

Manali is a valley nestled in the mountains of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh near the northern end of the Kullu Valley, at an altitude of 2,050 m (6,726 ft.) in the Beas River Valley. It is located in the Kullu district, about 270 km (168 mi) north of the state capital, Shimla, 309 km (192 miles) northeast of Chandigarh and 544 km (338 miles) northeast of Delhi, the federal capital. The small town, with a population of 8,096,[1] is the beginning of an ancient trade route to Ladakh and from there over the Passion to Yarkand and Khotan in the Trim Basin. It is a popular tourist destination and serves as the gateway to Lahaul & Spiti district as well as Leh.

Mandi district (earlier known as Mandavya Nagar) is one of the central districts of Himachal Pradesh state in northern India. Mandi town is the headquarters of Mandi district. The town has mythological and historical significance and boasts of unique temple architecture. It is referred to as Chhota Kashi as there are many ancient temples in the city and on the banks of river Beas. The Beas flows through the town and hills, which makes this town more scenic. It has a serene ambiance though the modern development has made its inroads here in infrastructural developments.

The Nehru Kund is a natural spring which was named after the first prime minister of India Late Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru. The prime minister loved visiting the place and drinking the crystal clear water from the spring when he used to stay in ManalThe graceful clean water spring is said to have its source at the Bhrigu Lake. The sound of the bubbling water amidst the peaceful silence of the place will play like music to your ears. The river Beas flows through it. The serenity of the place and crystal clear water of the Kund attracts the tourists who visit Manali.

Himvalley amusement park is one of the surging tourist attractions in the pristine hill station of Manali. The Him Valley Amusement Park is one of the first amusement and cultural park placed at a height of about 7000 ft above sea level. The park has been brilliantly designed to attract the various types of visitors to this place. and Himvalley occupies the place of one of the best amusement center for the tourists. It is best Place to visit and one of my favourite destination to go with friends and family. Gulabo Point Gulaba is a small village near Manali which is located on the road to Rohtang pass. Named after Raja Gulab Singh of Kashmir, the village of Gulaba is flanked by the picturesque beauty of snow covered mountains, grasslands and the Beas river that washes away its landscapes. Owing to such an amazing topography. Being reputed as a heavy snowfall region, the landscapes of Gulaba have turned out to be a hub for adventure sports.

Solang Valley is easily every adventure lover's paradise. There are a wide variety of activities and adventure sports here, where you can really challenge the daredevil in you. Among these, paragliding is perhaps the most pursued activity here. In this sport, you are supposed to jump from a higher altitude such that a parachute opens up and allows to cover some horizontal distance as well. Here at the Solang Valley, ample arrangements are in place such that both freshers and experienced paragliders can enjoy this activity. Best time for paragliding varies according to seasons.. This activity is generally shut down during the monsoon season due to unfavourable weather conditions.

Hadimba Devi Temple also known variously as the Hadimba Temple, is located in Manali, a hill station in the State of Himachali Pradesh in north India. It is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hadimba Devi, sister of Hadimba, a figure in the Indian epic Mahabharata. The temple is surrounded by a cedar forest at the foot of the Himalayas. The sanctuary is built over a huge rock jutting out of the ground which was worshipped as an image of the deity. The structure was built in 1553.

Museum of Himachal Culture and Folk Art is a stone's throw from Hadimba Devi Temple at Manali. It is located 2-3 km from Manalimain town. The Museum was established in 1998 to collect and exhibit cultural and folk art antiques articles of Himachal Pradesh. But the initiative to collect articles of traditional values from all over Himachal began long time back in 1990.

The Great Himalayan National Park Conservation Area as a Natural Site was inscribed into the UNESCO World Heritage List during the session of the 38th World Heritage Committee in Doha, the State of Qatar, on 23rd June 2014.The inscription confirms Great Himalayan National Park Conservation Areas Outstanding Universal Value as a site containing the most important and significant natural habitats for in-situ conservation of Western Himalayan biological diversity, including those containing threatened species of outstanding universal value from the point of view of science or conservation.

Manu Temple is one of the main tourist attractions in Manali.. Its in Old Manali region and connected with main market through a road which passes through Manali Community Center Here are some photographs of the place. The temple is dedicated to the Indian sage Manu who is said to be the creator of the world and the writer of Manuscript. This temple is considered as only Manu temple on earth and most of the foreigners come to see this temple. For Foreigners, this temple is must go place and other places can missed, but this can't be... The Club House Manali is located in the center of the city near the Mall road. It offers comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar, and a restaurant. The place is one of the most favorite attractions inManali for kids, who can play video games, enjoy Go carting etc. available here. The Club House Manali is run by HPTDC and there's a little something for everyone here. Other interesting games that can be enjoyed here are Carrom, table tennis, and pool.

The Manali Sanctuary is a wildlife sanctuary in Himachal Pradesh in northern India. The sanctuary starts about 2 km from Manali. It is the catchment of Manalsu khad. A path from Manali log huts and Dhungri temple passes through dense Deodar, Kael, Horse chestnut, Walnut and Maple forests. Musk deer, Monal and Brown bear, Leopard and Snow leopard are some of the common animals seen here

The Vashisht hot waters springs are said to cure many skin diseases. Many people go to the Vashisht baths to take a dip and rid themselves of skin infections and diseases. There are separate baths for both men and women. The baths are fitted with Turkish style showers. These baths are close to the hot water spring so that hot and cold water can be separately piped. Vashisht also houses some of the most famous temples in its vicinity. The place is a refreshing destination which allows you to indulge in exotic baths with the striking backdrop of the Himalayan beauty

The Mall Road is the throbbing nerve street of Manali, and is lined with plenty of hotels, eateries and shopping opportunities. That explains the top three things you can do around here - sleep, eat and shop. Buzzing with activity throughout the day, especially during the peak summer season, this is the perfect place to begin exploring Manali, as your hotel is most likely to be around the corner.

DAY 4: Manali to Manikaran to Kasol

Manikaran is famous for its hot springs. Thousands of people take a holy dip in hot waters here. The water is so hot that dal, rice & vegetables etc. can be cooked in it. It is also a well-known pilgrimage place for both Hindus & Sikhs. Ramchandra and Shiva temples besides a Gurudwara are there. According to an old legend, Manikaran is connected with Lord Shiva and his divine consort, Parvati, who lost her ear rings here, which gave birth to hot waters on the bank of Parvati River Manikaran is a pilgrimage centre for Hindus and Sikhs. The Hindus believe that Manu recreated human life in Manikaran after the flood, making it a sacred area. It has many temples and Gurudwara. There are temples of the Hindu deities Rama, Krishna, and Vishnu. The area is well known for its hot springs and its beautiful

Parvati River An ideal place for relaxing, one can also indulge in some nerve wracking activities like river rafting. Another option there is to laze around and spend your time trout fishing. In fact it is considered as a best place for angling. One need to acquire a special permission for fishing here

Flea Market Market Browsing is one of the prime things to do in Kasol. Although the market street is a little small, but you will find shops lined with Jimmy Hendrix goodies, night vision glasses, neon trinkets and accessories, woollen clothes, caps and shoes, all of which you'd want to take back home. Besides, the market is based in the backdrop of the hills at one end of the road which makes for a perfect picturesque walk as well
