Dalhousie is a hill station in Chamba District, in the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Dalhousie is a high-altitude town spread across 5 hills near the Dhauladhar mountain range in the north Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It’s home to colonial-era buildings, including St. Francis and St. John’s churches, which date back to the rule of the British Raj in the 1800s. A trek up Dainkund Peak leads to Pholani Devi Temple. To the north, Subhash Baoli is a peaceful area with pine trees and panoramic views.

DAY 1: Pathankot to Dalhousie local market visit

Pick up Pathankot Railwaty station Move Dalhousie Hotel after fresh to See Run way side seen Local Visit

Subhash Baoli is located at a distance of 1 Km from Dalhousie is the picturesque view of Subhash.

Panchpula is almost 3 km. there is a very beautiful monument erected at Panchpula where several streams meet at one point. That is Samadhi monument was built in memory of great sardar Ajit Singh.

Satdhara Falls, located on the way to Panchpula is one of the most popular sightseeing attractions of Dalhousie. Perched at an altitude of 2036 m above sea level, the place has derived its name from the seven beautiful springs

City Shopping, Dalhousie Overview The bustling and vibrant street of Gandhi Chowk is known as the lifeline of Dalhousie. If you want to buy unique handicrafts and experience local talent, then Gandhi Chowk in Dalhousie is the place for you. Also known as GPO, this place is filled with various markets and shops; ranging from The Tibetan Market, the Himachal Handloom Industry Emporium, Himachal Handloom and Crafts Centre and Tibetan Handicrafts Centre. There is a plethora of various small shops to fulfill your list of gift items. All the major buildings and hotels are situated here, at GPO. The Tibetan market is a popular spot, which offers a variety of goods including bags, dolls, carpets, purses and handicrafts. The Himachal Handloom Industry Emporium on Thandi sarak is known for its traditional Kashmiri shawls; which reflects the intricate craftsmanship of the locals. These handicrafts are unique in their own way. Bhuttico was established by local women in the mid 19th century. It offers a wide range of the famous Kullu shawls; made from lamb's wool, angora, pashmina. Recently, they have also started making the popular embroidered shawls.

DAY 2: Dalhousie to Khajjiar & Chamba Local side seen Visit

Early Morning after breakfast see run way side seen Khajjiar to Chamba Local Visit

Dainkund is only 10 km. one can enjoy the beautiful view of the hills, with the rivers Ravi, Beas and Chenab threading through the distance. A Devi Temple is also situated on the hill.

Kala Top Wildlife Sanctuary The wildlife reserves, provides shelter to various species of flora and fauna. Kala top is a pleasant getaway, only 5 km from Dalhousie, with a panoramic view and a forest rest house.

Bakrota Hills 2,085 meters (4.8 km) the magnificent Bakrota Hills offer to the tourists an unforgettable walk round the hills besides a grand view of snow-clad peaks.

Khajjiar
is a forest glade of great beauty, 6400 feet above sea level". Khajjiar is often referred to as "Gulmarg of Himachal Pradesh the lush green meadows are surrounded by thick pine and cedar forests. Grazing herds of sheep, goats and other milch cattle present a prefect pastoral scenery

St. Andrew's Church was built in the year 1903 at balloon by protestant Christians and commonly known as the Church of Scotland.

St. Johns Church The church is approximately 2 km from the main bus stand and it stands on the Gandhi chowk. Rev. John H. Pratt came to Dalhousie in 1863 and inspired the Christian community to build a permanent church building at this place

Bara Pather is a famous temple in Dalhousie that attracts a lot of visitors everyday. It is located amidst the quiet and pristine surroundings of Chamba Valley and is dedicated to Bhulwani Mata. The tourists love visiting this place for its excellent views of the snow-clad Himalayas and the pleasant weather that makes the environment cool and comfortable. Bara Pather is only 4 km away fromDalhousie, and is on the way to Kalatop. Though the scenic beauty of this place is worth a visit, many tourists come here only to visit the Bhulwani Mata's temple, which is positioned in the village of Ahla amid the thick forests.

Chamba is an ancient town in the Chamba district in the state of Himachal Pradesh, in northern India. According to the 2001 Indian census, Chamba has a population of 20,312 people. Located at an altitude of 996 metres above mean sea level, the town is situated on the banks of the Ravi River

Bhuri Singh Museum is a hidden gem in Chamba and a must see for any serious visitor to Dalhousie and Chamba. The museum is storage of the original hill art and statuary.Buri Singh, Raja of the Chamba was an imaginary, and he realized the importance of preserving ancient artifacts. He donated the Royal Collection to the museum.

Laxmi Narayana Temple is the main shrine in Chamba that includes Bimana i.e. Shikhara and Garbhgriha with a small antarala and a mandapa. The temple has wooden chattries and a shell roof at the top to protect against snowfall. There is a wheel shaped roof that helps to protect from cold. It houses a metallic image of Garuda, the mount of Lord Vishnu.
